BY OUR STAFFThree Zimbabwe junior football players who went for an AC Milan Camp tournament have been selected to join the AC Milan juniors’ elite team. Simon Solobala (10) Malvern Mudzuka (14) and Anesu Fensi impressed the scouts.
The trio will join other junior players who were also selected into the elite team in July next year where they are going to play in a similar youth camp in America and Colombia.
Speaking to Standardsport, WWS director Munya Maraire said the three have qualified for yet another camping tour. “They are now in our books together with AC Milan, we are just waiting to hear from them if they would offer any of them a scholarship, but the three qualified for yet another tour as they made it into the AC Milan elite team,” Maraire said.
