Governor acted for ZANUPF

What the governor of Masvingo, Titus Maluleke  did  in banning non-governmental organisations in the province was wrong, but I do not think it is fair to attack him in his personal capacity or the teaching profession in general or primary school teachers in particular. Our emotions shouldn’t interfere with our judgement. Adequate qualifications and experience alone may not change the complexion of things.

We have a lot of buffoonery and foolish decisions taken by highly professional and experienced people which have left Zimbabweans suffering just because the decisions were not based on Ubuntu and even though supposedly politically correct, didn’t consider human security.

MDC-T is in the majority in Zaka, if not the whole of Masvingo, and allowing food aid through NGOs would weaken Zanu PF. Currently food aid is offered through local leaders but that needs no explaining, suffice it to say using food to buy votes is the worst form of exploitation  and a fraudulent  way to win an election.

Even if he had a PhD in governance, would his decision have been any different? — Where would he derive the whim?
