FC Platinum… (1) 1 Buffaloes …0

Motor Action brought a three match winless streak to a halt when they edged Chicken Inn 1-0 in a Castle Lager Premiership match at Motor Action Sports Club on Saturday. Merciful Ncube ensured the Mighty Bulls got back to winning ways when he powered in Yves Ebabali’s cross on 29 minutes to give stand in coach David George an important win.

With coach Joey Antipas absconding from duty due to a bout of flu, George did the barking from the touchline and the team responded well with a purposeful game that took them half an hour to break the deadlock.

Ebabali left Moses Jackson in his wake on the left flank before crossing for an onrushing Ncube who rose high to head home beyond Njabulo Nyoni to give them a deserved win Bulls now have 19 points from 17 matches whilst Chicken Inn remains fourth despite the defeat for now going into tomorrow’s fixtures.

In Zvishavane Ephraim Shoko reports that, FC Platinum got the better of Buffaloes with a 29th minute Khumbulani Banda strike. It was former Soccer Star of the Year Charles Sibanda who left his markers for dead on the left flank before releasing Banda who fired a stinger home, beating Hopeful Bere in goals for the army side.
