Action will resume on the weekend of October 27-28 with log leaders Dynamos taking on second-placed Highlanders at Rufaro.

Many football fans have a feeling that the encounter is going to decide the destination of the championship as the two clubs have been breathing neck to neck for the better part of the season.

DeMbare are at the summit with 58 points while Bosso are second with 56 points, two points behind DeMbare.

Third-placed Monomotapa are 12 points behind Highlanders, which makes them 14 points behind log leaders DeMbare.

At the bottom, the relegation battle continues with Quelaton, two points away from being confirmed relegation candidates, at 10 points.

Kwela Kwela, anchoring at the bottom with 10 points, are 12 points behind 15th-placed Hardbody, who are sitting on 22 points together with Gunners. It still remains to be seen whether new coach Moses Chunga, who is in the habit of saving sinking ships, is going to bubble a drop of magic to save Chando Kupisa.

Blue Rangers, who have been occupying 15th position for the better part of the season, have since thrown themselves a lifeline by winning two consecutive matches which took them to 13th position at 24 points.

Just above them is Hwange, who are still in relegation puzzle despite occupying 12th position at 26 points.
