MINNOWS Triangle have been robbed of key players due to injuries and suspensions ahead of their clash against rejuvenated log leaders Dynamos at Gibbo this afternoon.

The injury list includes veteran defender Norman Togara (ankle), Blessing Chimwamuchere, Tinei Meda and Brian Juwayei (knee), while the hard-tackling midfielder Muneri Muchineripi is serving his suspension.
However, despite the long list of absentees, coach Gishon Ntini remains bullish and is not even slightly intimidated by Dynamos’ heroic 1-0 win over rivals Highlanders at their Barbourfields fortress.
“A number of guys such as Togara, Chimwamuchere, Meda and Juwayei are injured, while Muneri is suspended. However, there is nothing special about this game and Dynamos should play like champions that they are, otherwise they will be disappointed. We want to finish in the top four,” said Ntini whose side held the mighty Dynamos to a goalless draw at Rufaro in the reverse fixture.
Ntini’s confidence could be centred on the availability of seasoned campaigners such as William “Munhumutema” Mapfumo, Limited Chikafa and Courage Denias.
However, table toppers Dynamos with 48 points, the same with Harare City, are not a team that can be taken lightly, especially with only four games before the curtain comes down.
Team manager Richard Chihoro boldly declared; “We are definitely going to beat Triangle and we will take inspiration from our previous visits to Gibbo where we collected positive results. Gibbo is like a home ground to us because we have won most of the matches we have played there.”

However, he was mindful of the threat posed by Triangle. “They are on position six and playing very well. We should never undermine them,” he said.
Dynamos’ only notable absentee in today’s game is Partson Jaure, who was red-carded in last weekend’s victory over Highlanders. In his absence, coach Pasuwa will look up to Victor Kamhuka who must be itching for a regular first team jersey since joining the team mid-season. Elsewhere, second placed Harare City, devoid of the injured Chris Dickson, Witness Nyamutsaka and Willard Kolongonda, will be hoping that lady luck continues to smile on them when they take on relegation threatened Black Rhinos at Rimuka Stadium.
Rhinos are placed fourth from the bottom with 30 points, five behind Black Mambas. Third placed Highlanders, who are a point below the leading pack, have a seemingly easy task ahead of them as they take on relegated Motor Action at Rufaro.
The team’s assistant coach Bheki “Super” Ndlovu appealed to the team’s fans to come in their thousands to rally behind the team. “This is the time of the season where we need our supporters the most. I urge them to support us from now until the end of the season. We want to win this championship,” said Ndlovu. Bosso will miss the services of the injured Gabriel Nyoni.
“We hope to get a positive result after last weekend’s loss. Remember we have not lost at Rufaro this season,” he said.
