Speaking after the awards presentation ceremony, Gwata expressed delight at the performance of his team which had two ladies and two gentlemen.

He thanked Premier Auto Services for dedicating a day meant to give back to their clients and other service providers.

“I would like to applaud Premier Auto Services for their good gesture. The organisation through their Croco Motors division has been in sport for a long time, having been a major partner in cricket and other disciplines.

“All in all, it was a memorable fun filled day and I am extremely happy that my team won,” he said.

Individual winners on the day include John Musekiwa for his nearest to pin shot in hole two, while Tapfuma produced some magic for a nearest to pin on the three par signature hole 15.

Longest drive bragging rights for the women category went to Alfazema (hole 8) and Caleb Mutabvuri (hole 18) in the men’s category. The golf day has been running since 2010 in honour of Premier Auto’s clients and other service providers.
