The Khona singers who will perform with a full band for the first time in Zimbabwe will share the stage with compatriot rapper KO, who is on his maiden Zimbabwe tour along with local crowd pullers Jah Prayzah and Winky D, among a host of other musicians.
In an interview with The Standard Style, organisers of the show 2Kings’s public relations manager Samuel Mukondo said the event would serve as a celebration for local radio station ZiFm’s fourth anniversary.
“We have dedicated the event to ZiFm as they celebrate four years of broadcasting. We are celebrating their birthday in style,” he said, adding that they had a special for students.
“We want to make tickets available for students at a discounted price of $5. They should bring their student IDs on purchase of the ticket.”
He recommended that revellers should buy advance tickets, which will go on sale on Wednesday.
Music fans have become sceptical of advance tickets of late, fearing fake tickets but Mukondo assured that tickets will have special features.

“We have realised that people are scared of advance tickets, but as 2Kings we are game changers. We believe in quality and we want to bring that confidence in our clients, so we beat this whole fake ticket thing,” he said.
“We have created a system that we are safely happy with at the moment, that’s security and basic checking point system.”
He also said the South African performers are expected to land in the country on the day of the performance and they will be CashTime merchandise giveaways.
