Frank (82), a Germany national, was in the country on Thursday to minister at the Mission Centre Church in Harare.

In an exclusive interview with The Standard Style on Thursday, the revered preacher who claims to have spoken to the Lord said the situation in Zimbabwe was not exceptional, but an indication of the second coming of Jesus Christ.

“In John 14:3, our Lord made a promise that he will go to prepare the place and then return. In Matthew 24:29, he says ‘Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.”

“The Lord is precisely saying the problems in Zimbabwe come to pass and all people should prepare the return of the Lord.”

Frank said his visit was meant to share the word of God with Zimbabweans as it is written in the Bible. He said the Bible was the complete testimony of God to which nothing could be added.

“The holy scripture is definite in all it testifies. Therefore, every interpretation outside the Bible is not the exact word of God,” he said.

“Only what apostles left to us in their writings is indeed apostles’ doctrine. Only what the Bible truly testifies is biblical. Only what originates from Christ is indeed Christian. Decisions made in different councils in the course of church history are rejected as by them the adding to and falsifying of the original word is obvious.”

Frank has travelled to 156 countries, preaching the Word of God.

“My commission is and remains to preach the Word as it is written, to proclaim the message of the hour, including everything promised to us for this time and take it to the ends of the world. How can somebody claim to be a preacher of the Word when preaching things which are not even written in the Word?,” he said.

The revered preacher has even ministered in Islamic countries.

“I have preached in Nepal, Pakistan, the Phillipines and Egypt and we have close to 17 channels broadcasting the word of God in Islamic countries,” he said.

Frank said he had been preaching over the past 56 years, travelling from city to city across the globe.

“Since the time I obeyed the heavenly calling, I have been travelling from city to city, from country to country, from continent to continent to proclaim the Word of God and to distribute the spiritual food to others who are hungry to hear the Word,” he said.

He said he had a personal salvation experience with the Lord at a tender age during a Pentecost conference in 1949. He, however, said his turning point was in 1962 when he got a calling from the Lord which was later buttressed by prophet William Branham.

“My first experience with the Lord was on April 2 1962 when the Lord spoke to me. The Lord always speaks to you from the right side. He said, ‘we have seen the work you are doing in this city, but I would send you city to city, country to country and continent to continent to preach’,” he said.

“On December 3 1962, I met Brother Branham and by the Grace of God he repeated the same words that the Lord had spoken to me. He told me that the food that God referred to was the Word which I should share with others.

Meanwhile, Pastor Jeremiah Chenjerai of Mission Centre Church said his church was priviledged to host a preacher of Frank’s calibre.
