The musical group, which was formed by a team of vibrant youths destined to spread the gospel through their vocal talent, will feature on digital magazine Smile Weekly’s music segment.

Speaking to The Standard Style, RMM group director Kudzai Mbiriri said; “We have been working with Smile Weekly, which is a digital magazine and we have recorded a video with them which is set to be out and aired soon.”

Mbiriri said they had engaged Kudzai Tinago from ADRA Zimbabwe in order to increase their targeted audiences, which are not only within the urban setting but also in the remote areas.

“We believe our mission is to minister to everyone, including people from other denominations and our music speaks to everyone irrespective of their denominations, through songs, which encourage us not to put our total trust in human beings but in a superior being, who is God,” he said

The group was formed in 2014 by Mbiriri and Theophelus Masevo and has so far released two albums and intends to release another one early next year.

RMM is dominated by energetic and devoted young people joining the groups. They have been working with different groups, which include Firm Faith, Bliss Music Zimbabwe as well as other groups from Zambia and Botswana.

“Our first album was released in November 2016 and is titled Hold On and has hit songs No Night There and Zvarema. The second album is titled Kwete Ini, which includes powerful songs that talk about being humble and remembering who the provider of all is,” he said.

“Many times we praise ourselves for certain things in life, which might be a promotion, a new car and we forget who deserves the praise.”

Mbiriri described his group as being made up of young people who are self-driven, self-funded and very focused because they have managed to rise into the limelight within a short period of time, a feat which normally takes other groups years to achieve.
