
Chiredzi-based gospel singer, Mharidzo Hetisani has combined different beats in her latest album titled Another Chance. She said she was doing this to ensure that her messages reach a wider range of audiences.

In an interview with The Standard Style, Hetisani said her new album was a mixture of different genres, including jiti, jazz, rhumba, South African and Nigerian beats.
The musician, who made an entry onto the music industry with self-titled album Mharidzo, said she was targeting sinners in her new songs.
“My songs are encouraging sinners, that there is always a way and God gives us many chances. People should get back to God,” she said.
She believes she was called by God to minister through music and her passion stirred her to become a gospel musician.
The gospel diva is a popular feature at a number of gospel music festivals and crusades, including weddings and parties. She has shared the stage with top gospel artists like Reverend Togarepi Chivaviro, whom she regards as her spiritual father.
“If only God allows my music to reach its selected people and be able to heal their hearts, winning souls and bring people to Christ. I want God to clap hands for me saying, well done my servant,” she said.

“I can compose a song while in a church service, from the word being preached, singing a church song, being overwhelmed by something and touched by a certain situation is also another drive.”
Hetisani is inspired by Baba naMai Charamba and Baba and Amai Chivaviro, who she described as people who are always serious, determined and work together in this ministry to make it.
She also added her only zeal was to preach the gospel of salvation to the world.
