The agency continues to groom fresh, young and diverse faces, all of whom give new life and energy to the ramp.
The Standard Style this week introduces one of the promising talents in 19-year-old model Ashley Guwu, who launched her professional modelling career in 2015 after she signed at the agency.
Inspired by Kenyan-Mexican actress Lupita Nyong’o, Guwu said she was working hard to build her name in the modelling industry, having already participated in a number of pageants among them Miss Heritage Zimbabwe, Miss Valentine Victoria Falls, Miss ZimGold, Miss Mutoko and Miss Connect.
“I am really passionate about modelling that all I want is to be able to make a name in the modelling industry so that I am able to help the underprivileged,” she said.
“I am grateful to modelling for showing me another world and another life which I am enjoying.” At the pageants that Guwu has participated in, she has proved that she is destined for greater heights having been crowned the queen twice (Miss Mutoko 2015 and Miss Valentine Victoria Falls 2017) while at Miss Heritage and Miss ZimGold she was voted Miss Personality and at Miss Connect 2016 she was the second princess.
The Arcturus-based model said she was about to enrol at university.
