Is it the rumours that are circulating on different social media platforms that things have fallen apart for her, amid claims that her marriage with Elikem has collapsed, that could have forced Pokello to go rural?
This might bring more questions than answers. Anyway, hold your breath, because Pokello still has the swagg and bling. she will also not be going to live in a rural area anytime soon despite her recent photo shoot in the Chihota rural area.
The Standard Style this week takes a peep into some of Pokello’s sizzling photos dressed in African print while in Chihota, courtesy of Cici Fashions as they introduced their festive season collection.
Cici Fashions was started three years ago by Tima as she felt African print was not appreciated and taken into consideration as office or casual wear.
Tima’s collections have been gaining recognition and she must be proud that her idea of mixing prints with other fabrics broke the rigidity of defined corporate wear in the office.
In an interview with The Standard Style, Clara Maybe Tima — the brains behind Cici Fashions — said she decided to do it differently, going rural for photo shoots for her latest designs.

“Fashion is art and you have to be creative. While many people might have been used to normal photo shoots, as Cici Fashions we chose to do it differently and African by going for a rural setting for our shoot as we introduced our festive season collection,” she said.
Tima said she chose Pokello for the shoot because of her style and because she was a trending fashionista who has been in the fashion industry for some time.
“Choosing a brand influencer for Cici Fashions was easy. Why Pokello, many might ask? Well, Pokello is undoubtedly a woman who has managed to do it consistently in terms of fashion. When you talk fashion, style and trendsetting, then she is undoubtedly the one woman who has managed to do it consistently for long,” she said.
“Pokello has been in the limelight, just like our designs; she is a woman who dares to be different, is unapologetic and true to herself.”
Tima said her festive season collections that range from dress for traditional weddings, family gatherings and Christmas can be tailor-made to customers’ specifications.
