The preacher, who is famed for “spiritual spectacles miracles”, was last involved in music in 2016 after releasing an eight-track album titled 100 Percent Prophetic.

This was his third album after his previous releases Mesiya (2002) and Serevende (2006). His music has received generous airplay on local radio stations.

Backed by the GMM Choir, Prophet Freddy, with the help of Roy Manyowa, composed the single which was recorded at Revival Studios by Forward Mazuruse.

“I worked with brother Roy from the start of the project and I had to assign him to do the final touches on the single. Our very own GMM Choir provided the backing vocals,” Prophet Freddy told The Standard Style.

“Due to pressing ministerial work, I had to take a break from music. There are things that God wants us to do for His people that are occupying me at the moment.”

The title track of his 2002 offering Mesiya was a hit and Prophet Freddy believes the track Mwari-we! has the pedigree to capture people and turn them to God.

Meanwhile, Prophet Freddy will on May 4 descend on Bindura, which happens to be the preacher’s home town. Prophet Freddy was born in Musana, a rural area on the outskirts of the Mashonaland Central capital. The all-night healing and deliverance service will be held at Chipadze Stadium, for a crusade dubbed Spiritual Spectacles Bindura Edition Night.

Prophet Freddy said he was taking the “spiritual spectacles” to Bindura as part of his countrywide miracle services.

Last month, hundreds of Kwekwe residents thronged Mbizo Stadium where he hosted his first all-night prayer outside the capital this year.

“We are taking the ‘spiritual spectacles’ to Bindura upon God’s instruction. We are expecting a full house and people should expect spiritual spectacles,” he said.
