In an interview with The Standard Style in Mutare recently, Mutambikwa, who is backed by The Vicitory Melodies, said the DVD gave an opportunity for gospel music lovers to see the band performing live and at the same time giving praise and worship.

“We have come up with the live DVD so that our fans can see how we perform on stage live. “This will also help us to bring out our real presentations in singing and praising our Lord. This is a great present to our growing fan base,” he said.

The DVD album carries nine songs from his two albums, namely Humambo and Ndakadanwa Ndikadaira.

The songs include Mweya Wangu Unemuponisi, Hakuna Hama Kupinda Jesu and Humambo.

Other songs are Kunamata Kwakanaka, Dzokerai Panzvimbo Dzenyu and the popular Ndichaiwaka Church.

Naiwo Masimba, Pasi Idandaro and Hakuna Hama Kupinda Jesu, the Methodist Church versions, complete the DVD album.

“This is a new step that we have taken and the live DVD makes all the difference as compared to the other videos shot on various locations,” Mutambikwa said.

He said his musical star was now shining brighter after he was invited to perform in South Africa late last year.

“We will continue shooting live videos and this is the best way that we have realised that will bring people closer to God,” Mutambikwa said.
