The musician mingled with both the old and new fans as he took them down memory lane through hits such as Ndadiwa Mhani and Chibhodhoro, among others.
Speaking in a side stage interview after his flawless performance, Shinso said he had been humbled by the reception he got from the fans.
“It is always a pleasure for an artiste to sing to an attentive audience as that shows they are enjoying your performance,” he said.
“Kwekwe people are great and I promise to come back and post another big show for them.”
Kwekwe Expo manager Howard Masaninga said he was happy with the musician’s performance and that of other artistes from the city.
“We cannot really mention the names of the local artistes, but all in all, I would like to say that they did a great job on stage,” Masaninga said.
“Local artistes managed to keep revellers on their toes and that shows that we have great talent here in Kwekwe.
“We say hats off to the local artistes and Shinsoman for the professionalism they showed as artistes. As for Shinsoman, his performance was superb.”
Some of the artistes who gave polished acts included Terry and The Bliss, Bantuman I as well as the crew from Kwekwe Podium.
Kwekwe expo is held annually and over the years artistes from different parts of the country have had the opportunity to connect with their fans in the city.
