AFTER leading Dynamos’ almost complete relegation escape in recent weeks, man of the moment Valentine “V11” Kadonzvo (pictured left) is desperate for the Harare football giants to end their forgettable season with a flourish in the Chibuku Super Cup as they take on high-flying Triangle in the second semi-final at Rufaro Stadium this afternoon.

Kadonzvo, who has been a completely invigorated player since the departure of Lloyd Mutasa, has scored in the last three matches as the Glamour Boys picked full sets of points.
Dynamos just need three points to be guaranteed safety in their last three matches.
Shifting focus to the cup competition, Kadonzvo wants to make it to the final and lifting the trophy that gives the ticket to the CAF Confederation Cup.
“Everyone’s target is to lift the Chibuku Super Cup and that is my wish too. We are just taking each game as it comes and we hope to finish strong and I know I can do it,” he told Standardsport.
“It’s not going to be easy against Triangle, so we have to be focused as a whole and work really hard to progress to the final. Triangle have been playing very well of late too, so it’s going to be a good match.”
Kadonzvo scored what could be worthy of the goal of the season award during the midweek game against Herentals, showing jaw-dropping trickery to nutmeg two defenders before squeezing a low shot into the left corner of the post.

His prowess will be needed against Triangle today.
In Triangle, Dynamos face a side currently sitting comfortably fourth in the league, a team that beat them in the One Wallet Cup in 2014, coached by a man who won the Chibuku Super Cup in 2015 with Harare City, Taurayi Mangwiro.
“The fact that this team has won a big tournament before is a major motivation although only a couple of players who won the cup are still part of the team. And that I have also won the Chibuku Super Cup before is a boost so we are going to fight tomorrow (today),” Mangwiro said yesterday.
Mangwiro is also aware of the rich vein of form that the Harare giants have hit in recent weeks.
“We are bracing ourselves for a tough encounter because the Dynamos we are facing are a completely different proposition from the Dynamos of three weeks ago,” he said.
“We have prepared well. the only dent is the loss of Arnold Chivheya due to injury.
“We expect to do very well. We want to finish the season on a high considering we are within reach of the targets we set ourselves for the season.”
Triangle captain Lameck Nhamo, winger Phineas Bamusi and forward Collins Dhuwa have been in fine form for the Sugar Boys this season and are expected to give DeMbare a torrid time in the potentially explosive penultimate fixture of the competition.
