Parwaringira told The Standard Style that he had picked celebrated music producer Macdonald Chidavaenzi, aka MacDee, for his latest single entitled Zita ra Jesu, in his quest to produce a gem of a single that should rock his fans this Christmas period and beyond.

He has also featured gospel songbird Gugulethu Nkomo from Hwange in his latest project.

The gospel musician, who also works for a Christian organisation Dynamis World Ministries, says he is totally sold to the gospel and his work has impacted many souls around Zimbabwe and in neighbouring countries such as Mozambique.

“I haven’t done any shows yet, so my biggest testimony as a gospel musician, I have experienced it more in our gospel crusades, where I have witnessed thousands of people receiving Jesus and healed of different diseases,” he said.

“My life is totally sold to the gospel. I always dreamt of being a footballer, but my father discovered I could sing when I was 11 years old.”

He said his father, Reverend Noah Parwaringira, eventually decided to rope him to sing at his gospel crusades at the age of 16 and they went around Southern Africa holding crusades and evangelism.

“So for over half my life I have been ministering through music in different countries including Zimbabwe.

The 35-year-old musician released his debut album, a six-track gem Huya Kwaari, in 2005 and then recorded another album last year titled Crusade Music.
