Revellers will be in for a treat on Fridays as the club brings back the Chinanwari Nights, a unique ladies’ night outing which involves females dancers depicting the bedroom moves. The dance was a hit with patrons last year.

The ambitious monthly event, dubbed The Sungura Night, is part of the entertainment menu where sungura musicians from across the country perform.

Club Mandisa director Bornface Nyamanhindi said the show was meant to promote sungura musicians and expose them to the world.

“Sungura music is without doubt the most followed genre in Zimbabwe and we decided to host sungura gigs at least once every month so that we cater for the growing number of sungura lovers,” said Nyamanhindi.

Popular sungura musician Hosiah Chipanga will feature prominently at the venue leading The Sungura Nights and The Monday Night Jam Sessions.

According to Nyamanhindi, the club has also allocated time for reggae lovers.

“We will be giving reggae artistes and lovers their own slot this year as we try to cater for our clientele coming from divergent backgrounds,” he said.

Nyamanhindi said from Thursday to Sunday, top pole dancers would be performing at the joint. Zimbabwean pole dancers, including Five Stars, Hot and Bling, Nice and Exotic and Destruction Angelz, among others, will be part of the performing acts in what promises to be a classic pole dancing encounter this year.

Pole dancing is viewed as the hottest entertainment craze at the moment.

“As a club, we are looking at diversifying our entertainment acts to cater for all our audiences,” Nyamanhindi said.
