Local jazz musician Elias Innocent Tshuma has released his second album titled Team Hombe, which carries 14 tracks.

Tshuma, who fronts a four-member outfit, the Legendary Music Group, launched the album at a local radio station, Hevoi FM. The album has two gospel songs and the others are secular tracks.

Most songs on the album are getting airplay on Hevoi FM and he said he was yet to submit the songs to other radio stations around the country.

“As you start, you have to set a pace for your fans and for yourself so that you will be able to upgrade your standards to make sure you satisfy the needs and wants of the fans,” Tshuma told Standard Style.

“When I released my debut album, I was still young in the music industry and I needed to mature and that is what is I am now. I have grown into a better musician and I am now well-established and unstoppable.”

Tshuma’s manager, Gift Chingwaru, said there was great improvement from the first album. He was happy that Tshuma was developing into one of the best jazz musicians in the country.

“There are a lot of changes from his debut album. At first people did not fully understand who he was, but now they have a clear picture of the musician. In the music industry, people want to know your background first before they start following you, so the first album did set the foundation for him,” said Chingwaru.

Tshuma is looking forward to releasing a number of singles this year and he is also working towards producing videos for the Team Hombe album.

His first album is titled Ndipeiwo Nguva.
