The other side of prophecy

When describing a newfound relationship, it’s rare for the couple to individually focus on each other’s weaknesses. People ignore the imperfections of their partner because they fear that the imperfections may outweigh the perfections. This is never verbally admitted but is at sub-conscious level. When describing a newfound relationship, it’s rare for the couple to individually focus on each other’s weaknesses. People ignore the imperfections of their partner because they fear that the imperfections may outweigh the perfections. This is never verbally admitted but is at sub-conscious level. When people receive a prophetic word, they never want to focus on the process that will cause the prophecy to manifest. They are so in love with the word they skip the instructions it carries.

Apostle Johnson Suleman once said, “Prophecy without instructions is entertainment.” But in the excitement of the word, many miss the prophetic instructions and this is the reason many miscarry prophetic words. Just like a pregnant woman a man or woman who carries a prophecy has things they have to follow in order to see the manifestation of this word. Just like pregnancy, prophecy causes the receiver to seek a special diet of the word that induces the pregnancy to be birthed. Each pregnancy is different and unique.

Some ignore the cravings that the prophecy causes and because of malnutrition the word dies out. The prophet Daniel understood this, no wonder upon reading the word of Prophet Jeremiah he began to fast and pray for Israel to see the fulfilment of that word. Because Daniel prayed until he birthed the word spoken through Jeremiah, they were released from captivity.

God may will it, but it does not mean it will happen for you. The king’s officer in 2 Kings 7:1-3 doubted the word released by the prophet Elisha and although he could have been a partaker of its blessing, he lost out because of his actions and even brought judgment upon himself. Just because the king’s officer missed out on the word did not mean God did not want him to be a partaker of that word.

God declares in Isaiah 55:11 that his word will never come back to him void. Every word God speaks comes to pass and every prophetic word he declares finds a way to manifest. If it was spoken over you and you did not see it happen, it does not mean it did not come to pass. God’s word always finds those that are willing to partner with it for it to manifest. Because Israel was not faithful, God raised the gentile church and we became partakers of the promise. It may not happen to you but it always finds a way to manifest in its time even if it skips you.

When the Lord gave Abram a prophetic word, he changed his name to align him to the word that had been released. A certain man of God visited a man who had been bedridden for months and asked him if he could pray for the bedfast. He asked, “What are your plans for tomorrow?” The sick man said he had nothing planned as he would still be in bed. The man of God immediately said, “Why I should waste time praying for you when you do not believe God can bring you healing?” Just because God wills it does not mean it will happen. You have to align yourself to make that word manifest over your life. Timothy was told by Apostle Paul to wage war with the prophecies released over his life. It is your responsibility to make that word over your life to manifest. And unless you’re prepared to follow the instructions each word carries you’re not ready to see its manifestation. God bless you.
