Multi-faceted creative Donna N, who recently tied the knot with her sweetheart Bobby James Odendaal, a member of a Bulawayo gospel outfit Family Voices, says her new married life will not disturb her arts career.
The two tied the knot on December 23 last year.
Donna N is a radio and television personality, actress and host. She has hosted prestigious awards ceremonies, namely the Bulawayo Arts Awards, Skyz Metro FM Awards and the recent Bulawayo Shutdown gig which was headlined by South Africans Nasty C, Mafikizolo, Shasha and locals Winky D, MNzoe 7, Cal_Vin, Asaph and Novuyo Seagirl.
Asked if the marriage won’t disturb her work schedule, she responded: “In all honesty, I doubt it will affect my creative juices and schedule though I am going into this with a learning mentality.“
“It’s something I haven’t done before so I can say I am learning and I can’t say I have a formula I will employ in balancing marriage and work. The good thing is my husband is also in the arts industry so he understands what we go through and I am sure he will support me as much as I support him too.”
Donna N said she was ready to take on the new life journey with her husband.
“It’s a huge step in life that we have both taken and I am excited about it. I am happy that I have married my best friend and partner whom I love dearly. We understand each other better and we are ready to grow old together just like the vows say for better or for worse and till death separates us,” she said.

Donna N revealed that they started dating in 2017 and this got stronger till they tied the knot.
“Our first conversation was sometime back during a radio interview where I hosted him, then we became close and officially we started dating in 2017,” she said.
“From there our relationship became stronger and finally we decided to be one flesh and I am excited about our journey and love.”
