Charismatic Bulawayo preacher Prophet Sheltons (pictured below) says the world should see some positivity in Covid-19 as it has given people time to self-introspect and come closer to God.

Speaking to Standard Style, Prophet Sheltons said the world has been brought to a standstill and it was time for people to self self-introspect, think and prepare for post-Covid-19 life and their stand with the Creator.

“During the pandemic, many lives have been lost and this has left many of us in a state of introspection,” Prophet Sheltons said.

“As human beings, we start to see the fragility of life as we know it, self-reflection has become significant in our lives as Christians.

“We have been brought to a place where our purpose in the body of Christ has come into question: Should my life end right now, would I have completed my God-given mission on earth?

“This is the vital question any God-seeking Christian would have during this Covid-19 and lockdown era, we as Christians need to value and reflect on the chances God has awarded us to continue living on earth for His glory.”

Prophet Sheltons leads the Spirit Revival Encounter Church at Astra Building in Bulawayo.

“Everyone, including the church, had the whole year planned out, but the pandemic has shelved everything,” he said.

“To our congregants, I would like to advise them to remain steadfast in cultivating their relationship with God during this time that has been given to us to reflect on what truly matters, which is our connection to our Maker.”
