Titled Pore Pore, the album features songs craftly produced by seasoned producer Mono Mukundu. Some of the songs in the making include Nyope, Kumba Kwedu, Mudzimai Wangu and Murimi Ndiwe.

In an interview with Standard Style, Batsi expressed confidence the new tracks would impress his legions of fans.

“I have worked hard to this date to ensure that we come up with perfect gems,” he said.

“In my past shows I have sampled some of the tracks and it was a big thing to note that my fans fell head over heels in love with them.

“So, on November 21, we will be launching the album.”

Batsi graduated with a Musicology degree at Midlands State University and has also pursued several other professional ventures to spruce up his career. “My mother supported this dream of me becoming a fine artist against other competing professions,” he said.

“It is against this background that I have also worked hard to complement her trust on me.
