Gospel musician Mathias Mhere on Thursday released a third music video titled Baba naMai from his latest album Talita Kumi released last year in December.

Mhere was happy with the reception given to Baba naMai video and he promised that every song on Talita Kumi would have a video.

“The way people have fallen in love with the video is so amazing. They’re testifying that the art used and the song’s message is on point. I hope it will excite many more,” Mhere said.

“This is third video I have released from the album. Others that I released before are Upenyu hwaRazaro and Adam naEve. Every song is going to have its video, so more videos are coming.”

The Favour hit-maker told Standard Style that he did the song Baba naMai to remind people how important parents are and that they should be given the honour they deserve.

“The song reminds listeners that they should honour their parents whilst they are still alive. Even the Bible says honour your father and mother for your days on earth to be many. Sadly, some people forget their parents or guardians when they move to urban areas. They no longer talk about their background. We need to value our parents and spoil them with goodies whilst they are still alive,” he said.

As of Friday, the video had attracted 8 000 YouTube views.
