THE JET CHAIN, a subsidiary of Edgars Stores Limited, has continued to grow and expand its store footprint after they opened a new branch in Harare on Friday bringing its outlets to 28 nationwide.

The new store, located at corner Leopold Takawira Street and Kwame Nkrumah Avenue, is spacious giving shoppers’ ample room to enjoy the shopping environment.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Edgars group chief marketing officer Rumbie Dzimba described the outlet as an ideal destination for fashion enthusiasts and customers who value convenience.

“We are excited about this addition to our footprint as it reinforces one of the brand’s attributes, which is to bring fashion to our customers’ doorsteps. This store is the third branch located in Harare’s city centre downtown area, bringing the Harare stores complement to five and 28 nationwide,” she said.

“When it comes to shopping for fashion, we know customers love style, variety and value, and this new store offers just that and it’s exclusive to Jet. The brand offers trendy fashion for the whole family cutting across all age groups.”

Dzimba said the outlet offers flexible payment terms through laybys and credit accounts.

“Our credit terms give customers up to six months to pay when they have an account with us. We also offer short-term loans in-store through Club Plus microfinance which is a sister company in the Edgars Stores Limited stable,” she said.

“The range in the store includes footwear, beauty products, linen and towelling, toiletries, accessories and financial services in addition to our full clothing product range. This new store houses the trendy in-house brands — Massumi, Network Ladies and Gents, J-classics, Enzo, NxT Generation, Revolution as well as Jet Boy and Girl.”

Dzimba said utilising the most of floor and wall space, the environment is geared towards maximising clients’ experience and ensuring a variety of choice in product assortments.

“To keep customers coming through our front doors, the store sports innovative displays and layouts redefining the words ‘customer experience’. The new look features an eye-catching shop front with colourful visual imagery that speaks to the brand ethos — ‘feel good fashion for everyone’,” she said.

“Apart from the brick and mortar set-up, Jet has integrated its physical footprint with online presence to bring convenience to new and existing customers through WhatsApp shopping and an exciting new online store.”

Dzimba said the shopping touch points are integrated to give customers ease of access to the products they have grown to love.

“We are appreciative of our customers, and invite all of you to participate in the Thank U loyalty programme, which allows you to earn points every time you shop with us — and you will enjoy discounts at the end of the day,” she said.

“As Jet stores, we bring the right product proposition tailored for the markets we serve at the right price affirming our position as the preferred retailer for stylish, great value clothing.”
