Castle Lager Premier Soccer League defending champions Simba Bhora returned to winning ways with goals from Ishmael Nyanhi and Donald Mudadi inspiring a comfortable home victory over a miserable Triangle United at Wadzanayi Stadium yesterday.

Joel Luphahla's side desperately needed a win after a 2-0 setback against title rivals Scottland last week, and the result never looked in doubt after Nyanhi's ninth minute opener.

Mudadi doubled the home side's lead with a fine finish in the 33rd minute, connecting an Emmanuel Ziocha's cross for his second assist of the match.

Junior Makunike then added a  third on 72nd minute with a composed finish for his third goal of the season, although credit for the goal goes to Carlos Makambira who did all the hardwork by beating two markers before putting the ball on the platter for his fellow midfielder.

Substitute Never Tigere put the icing on the cake in added on time, firing home from a tight angle after put through by teenage substitute Cole Tsimba.

Victory kept Simba Bhora in third place with 22 points from 12 games, four points behind leaders Mwos.

Luphahla's men closed the gap on second-placed Scottland to a point.

Triangle remained second from the bottom with eight points.
