The Nedbank Tour de Great Dyke 2025 has secured a significant boost to its forthcoming event, with Manica Bikes officially joining as the Official Bike Partner and sponsor.

The partnership is a major step in the annual event’s mission to champion wellness, community opportunity, and charity across Zimbabwe's mineral-rich Great Dyke region.

A cornerstone of this collaboration is the commitment by Manica Bikes to provide full technical support to all participating cyclists for the duration of the three-day tour.

This expert back-up is designed to ensure a smooth, worry-free experience for riders, encouraging sustained engagement with cycling as both a sport and a key wellness activity.

Manica Bikes sales and marketing officer Herbert Dzonge expressed the company’s enthusiasm for the new role.

"Manica Bikes is excited to partner with YaFM and Nedbank Tour De Great Dyke 2025 as the official bike partner," Dzonge said. "Beyond providing full technical support, we will also be exhibiting our range of bicycles and motorcycles as the tour moves through communities, allowing locals to see and experience the quality and innovation of the Manica Bikes brand."

Now in its eighth year, the Tour de Great Dyke continues to be a unifying event, drawing cyclists from mining companies, local communities, and the general public.

It's a celebration of endurance, teamwork, and philanthropy. All proceeds from the 2025 tour will be channelled to the Gifted Children Foundation, which provides crucial assistance to academically talented but underprivileged children from the Great Dyke and beyond.

Nedbank Tour de Great Dyke and YaFM projects manager, Ebson Hungwe, welcomed the new sponsor, noting the partnership will significantly enhance both participation and the promotion of wellness.

"We are thrilled to have Manica Bikes joining the Nedbank Tour de Great Dyke family," Hungwe said.

"This partnership aligns perfectly with our vision of promoting wellness, inclusivity, and community development through sport.

“Their initiative to offer technical support will go a long way in strengthening this year’s event and enhancing the overall cycling culture in Zimbabwe."

The 2025 Nedbank Tour de Great Dyke is scheduled to run from November 6 to 8.

It will cover the event's traditional three laps, traversing the extensive mineral belt of the Great Dyke, running from Selous in the north down to Zvishavane in the south.

The new partnership ensures riders will be fully supported as they tackle this challenging and rewarding route.
