Musabvunda Fitness and Lifestyle is set to host its fourth edition of the Half Marathon and Family Fun Day at Blakiston Primary School in Milton Park on May 10, with organisers promising a bigger and more exciting event.
The full-day programme will run from 5:30am into the evening, combining fitness activities, family-friendly games, and live musical performances.
Tickets are already on sale, and the organisers’ chief operations officer Tafadzwa Masango urged participants to secure their spots early.
“We are all geared up for the Half Marathon and Family Fun Day and invite fitness lovers and members of the public to purchase tickets at our branches or through digital links on our social media platforms to avoid last-minute rush,” she said.
Masango said the event will cater for diverse interests, with a programme that includes the half marathon, games, and live performances by top local artists such as Ex-Q, Tryson Chimbetu, Baba Harare, Silent Killer, and Voltz JT.
“We have curated an exciting line-up across different genres to ensure a memorable experience for everyone,” she added.
Ticket prices range from US$10 to US$15 for members and selected card holders, while general admission is pegged at US$20.

Masango said the event goes beyond fitness, promoting wellness, family health, and awareness around drug and substance abuse.
“Our aim is to create an inclusive environment that encourages healthy living while ensuring affordability so that no one is left behind,” she said.
Founder Kudzai Pasinanodya, popularly known as “Greatkhalister,” said the organisation is celebrating significant growth since its inception.
“We have had an incredible four-year journey, growing from a small sportswear outlet to a nationwide brand. This year’s event is a celebration of that progress and we are confident it will be bigger and better,” he said.
Musabvunda has built a strong reputation in sportswear distribution and event management, working with corporates, schools, government departments, and other institutions.
“We are grateful for the support we have received from the market and proud of the partnerships we have built, including collaborations with leading musicians who have become a key part of our events,” Pasinanodya added.
With fitness and wellness increasingly becoming a priority for many Zimbabweans, organisers say this year’s event is expected to draw a large turnout, as participants gather for a day of sport, entertainment, and family fun.
