The Anglican Diocese of Manicaland owned school St James the Great High School Zongoro in Mutasa district in Manicaland province are the national winners in the National Innovation competitions.

The competition was organised by Emergination Africa with the assistance from ZB Bank and the Primary and Secondary Education ministry.

The completion aligns with the Heritage-based curriculum, which empowers learners to develop practical solution driven enterprises rooted in local resources and needs.

Permanent secretary in the Primary and Secondary Education ministry Moses Mhike was the guest of honour while  Shepherd Fungura, the chief executive officer of the ZB Financial Holdings, was  among invited guests.

Mhike congratulated the winners, saying the competition motivates youths to participate in entrepreneur learning skills.

"I would like to congratulate this year's national winners St James Zongoro the Great High School for being the national winners in the National Innovation competitions, but I would also like to say that we are all winners and you should continue to work hard,” he said.
