Kachirekwa was selected for the award by the African Leadership Organisation for his “visionary leadership, innovation in clean energy solutions, consistent excellence in customer engagement and the far-reaching socio-economic impact” of his work across the African continent.
“In recognition of your sterling leadership as chief executive officer of Power Giants Africa, and your groundbreaking contributions to the renewable energy and power engineering sectors across the Sadc region and the African continent, the board is delighted to inform you that you have been selected to receive the African Business Leadership Award 2025,” wrote Ken Giami, founder and chief executive officer of the African Leadership Organisation.
