Kingdom Kings and Queens Ministry embraces all

KKQ founder Pastor Nichola Samantha Choga emphasised that Christ came for sinners, not the pious.

In a world where many struggle, the church can offer a sanctuary, echoing the scripture, "Come to me, all who are weary, and I will give you rest." The need for a safe spiritual haven has led to the rise of countless churches, where many seek answers for their daily struggles.

However, despite this need, some churches remain judgmental, particularly towards those they deem unworthy. Enter Kingdom Kings and Queens (KKQ), an interdenominational ministry that embraces all, providing a home for the hopeless and spreading God's love.

Speaking to Standard Style, KKQ founder Pastor Nichola Samantha Choga emphasised that Christ came for sinners, not the pious.

"The gospel must heal and give hope to the lost. It should provide a holistic approach to worshippers without leaving anyone behind due to perceived shortcomings," she stated.

Pastor Nikki, a devout Christian and successful businesswoman, believes the church should be a healing place for all.

"Whether you are downcast, hopeless, or seemingly unforgivable, the church must be where you feel welcomed and loved. A supportive spiritual space is essential in working out your salvation," she said.

Pastor Nikki highlighted the indifference often exhibited by churches towards sinners, sharing anecdotes of how some people find more support from friends than from church members.

"I have heard jokes about how the church can be indifferent. People in dire situations sometimes find better love from their friends than from those who should be offering support," she noted.

Acknowledging the negative impact of a judgmental approach, Pastor Nikki aims to correct this through a model that embodies compassion and love.

"Church can heal and draw many if led by love, as exemplified by Christ. He dined with sinners and saved them from judgment. That’s our inspiration at KKQ; we want people to experience Christ's love," she said.

Initially focused on women, the ministry has evolved to include men, recognising that both genders face similar struggles.

"Focusing on women alone was folly; men also experience societal pressures. Our ministry embraces both women and men," she explained.

Pastor Nikki revealed that KKQ addresses various life matters, from relationships to entrepreneurship.

"We draw from many leaders and experts who can tackle life’s challenges. Whether you are feeling unloved, neglected, or defeated, KKQ is your home. We provide tailored solutions to life's diverse challenges," she added.

She cautioned against self-righteousness, emphasising the importance of understanding individual experiences.

"It's easy to be dismissive of others' struggles. What may seem trivial to one could be monumental for someone else. We have devised ways to address these needs exhaustively," Pastor Nikki said.

The ministry, which conducts both online and physical gatherings, has developed various programs to cater to its growing membership.

"We are intentional in our approach, designing programs that meet our members' needs. Counseling, deliverance, and mentorship are part of our offerings, and we worship together because there is power in unified prayer," she stated.

KKQ has nurtured young individuals into adulthood, guided aspiring entrepreneurs, counseled those battling addiction, and provided support for marriages.

"With God, all things are possible when done with love, respect, and kindness. We’ve seen transformations in those who might not fit traditional church molds," Pastor Nikki shared.

The ministry is hosting a three-day "In Him Conference" from October 23-25 in Harare, featuring powerful speakers and musicians.

"We want to provide an ideal spiritual home where every member's needs are addressed holistically. The conference is open to all for free, offering spiritual and physical nourishment," she said.

While many charge for counseling and mentorship, KKQ offers these services at no cost.

"The gospel is free. There are administrative costs, but we invite everyone to experience life-changing services without charge," she stated.

As Kingdom Kings and Queens continue to grow, it aims to touch many lives and provide lasting solutions for those facing everyday challenges.
