Shamva is set to come alive later this month as celebrated musician Ambassador Gibson Chisoni and his SAS outfit unveil their eagerly-anticipated 10-track album titled Simbiswa Nenyasha.
The launch, scheduled for November 22 at Liquid Lounge in Shamva, promises a star-studded night and a powerful musical celebration.
The project, whose title loosely translates to “sustained by grace”, is expected to explore themes of gratitude, spiritual resilience, and social reflection — hallmarks of Chisoni’s songwriting craftsmanship.
Known for his deep lyrical content and captivating stage presence, Chisoni continues to carve a niche in the local music scene, blending traditional sounds with modern instrumentation.
Tracks on the album include Zvemiromo Nemi, Kandege, Kana Nemiwo, Michero, Mhirizhonga, Natopa, Gamba Redzinza, Masikirwo Enyoka and Tapi Tapi (Remix).
To mark the special night, the album launch will feature an impressive lineup of guest performers, including some of Zimbabwe’s most recognisable voices in contemporary and traditional music.
Leonard Zhakata, Tryson Chimbetu and Manhanga Matete hitmaker Paddington Gwashira, among others would be supporting acts.
Fans can also look forward to energetic support sets from Shamva Marimba Band Legends, Dee Nice and DJ Skywalker.

Speaking ahead of the launch, Chisoni’s manager Phillip “Shava” Mukote said the event was not just a musical showcase, but a cultural homecoming for Shamva.
“This is a celebration of talent, community, and artistic growth. Simbiswa Nenyasha is a testimony to hard work and faith, and we want fans to share in this moment,” he said.
“We are appealing for partnerships to make this launch a success. The corporate world is welcome to support us.”
With general admission priced at US$5 and premium packages available, Mukote the night will cater to both loyal supporters and new fans eager to experience the Ambassador’s evolving sound.
The gates open at 6pm and the event will run late into the night.
Local promoters say the launch also signals growing artistic activity in communities outside Harare, encouraging more provincial centres to host major cultural events.
As the countdown begins, anticipation is building — and if early buzz is anything to go by, Simbiswa Nenyasha may well cement Chisoni’s place among the leading voices shaping Zimbabwe’s musical landscape.
