All set for Ndini Mukudzei tour

Jah Prayzah

All is set for contemporary musician Jah Prayzah, who is set to conclude his Ndini Mukudzei World Tour with a Harare gig slated for November 29 at the Harare International Conference Centre (HICC).

The tour — organised solely by Jah Prayzah’s management — has taken the award-winning artist across the globe over the past eight months.

Two weeks ago, he pulled a bumper crowd at Ellis Park Arena in Johannesburg, South Africa, a venue known for hosting major international acts.

The tour followed the launch of his latest album, Ndini Mukudzeyi, released earlier this year.

Reflecting on the South African leg of the tour, the lanky musician expressed gratitude to his fans in that country.

“This kind of love even makes this tall guy cry,” posted Jah Prayzah on his Facebook page.

“You really love me, I can see.”

The musician also posted on his Facebook page that he was ready for the HICC gig.

Several stakeholders and showbiz players also took to social media commending Jah Prayzah for filling Ellis Park Arena.

“We didn’t think Jah Prayzah could pull the numbers like he did,” said Amos Tshobo, a Zimbabwean based in South Africa.

South Africa-based musician Darlington Tanganyika also applauded Jah Prayzah for his ability to command huge crowds in the neighbouring country, crediting the success to a well-structured management team.

“This is great work done by Jah Prayzah,” said Tanganyika, adding that the musician has ignited the entertainment scene for Zimbabwean musicians based in South Africa.

“We will ride on this and push to have these big crowds.”

HICC has long been a home ground for the Mudhara Vachauya hit-maker, having hosted several of his album launches.

It remains one of Zimbabwe’s ceremonial hubs for high-profile entertainment events.

Jah Prayzah’s management has assured fans that the November 29 show will deliver an unforgettable experience as the curtain comes down on the global tour.
