Award-winning gospel musician Minister Michael Mahendere is set to close the year with a major worship gathering titled The 2025 Overcomers Outcry Experience, scheduled for December 22 at the East End Hall, Harare Showgrounds.
According to event organisers, the worship concert — presented by Your Sound Africa Studios in partnership with MMM Music — will deliver a full, uninterrupted live experience featuring Mahendere and his ensemble, Direct Worship. Fans can expect an extensive setlist of more than 30 songs, offering a rare, immersive worship encounter.
The show is themed around Ephesians 6:10–11, a scripture that encourages believers to “be strong in the Lord” and put on the “full armour of God”, a message Mahendere’s music has consistently carried over the years.
Mahendere, known for hits such as Makanaka Jesu, Chihembero and Salt of the Earth, continues to command a strong following locally and across the region.
His live recordings have become some of the most anticipated events on the gospel calendar, often drawing thousands of worshippers.
Organisers say this edition of the Overcomers Outcry Experience is designed to usher believers into 2026 with a renewed sense of spiritual strength.
“This will be a full worship immersion. It’s not just a concert—it’s an encounter,” said one of the event coordinators.
For a ministry that has consistently delivered high-energy performances and polished worship productions, the December 22 event is poised to be one of the biggest gospel gatherings of the festive season.
