Anticipation is building in Masvingo ahead of the Masvingo Music Fiesta, a Christmas Eve showcase that organisers say is designed to celebrate local talent, culture and community through music and performance.
The event, organised by Pardigon Promotions, will take place on December 24 at Caravan Park, bringing together a powerful line-up that includes Peter Moyo, Cheso Boys, Tryson Chimbetu, Marxist Dendera Brothers, Culture Love, Ranga Sagombeto, Livie Macheka – The Lion of Mwenezi, and Hasso King Boys, with Stacy Macheo as master of ceremony.
Speaking ahead of the show, Pardigon Promotions said the Music Fiesta was deliberately timed and curated to give Masvingo residents a memorable festive experience.
“We want to give people in Masvingo a proper Christmas Eve celebration anchored on Zimbabwean music and entertainment,” said a representative of Pardigon Promotions.
“Too often, big shows are concentrated in Harare and Bulawayo. This event is about taking quality entertainment to the people and recognising Masvingo as a growing cultural hub.”
The organisers said the diverse line-up was intentional, blending sungura, dendera and contemporary performance to appeal to a wide audience.
“Our line-up reflects the sound of the people — music that speaks to everyday life, joy, struggle and celebration,” the organisers said.
“We want families, young people and music lovers from across the province to feel represented.”

Pardigon Promotions also highlighted affordability and accessibility as key pillars of the event, with entry pegged at US$5 for ordinary tickets and US$10 for VIP.
“We priced the show deliberately low so that no one is excluded. Music should unite, especially during the festive season,” the organisers said.
Patrons have been reminded that no food or alcohol will be allowed from outside, with vendors set to operate inside the venue to ensure safety and order.
As Masvingo prepares for the holidays, the Music Fiesta is expected to offer more than entertainment — serving as a reminder of music’s power to bring communities together and end the year on a celebratory note.
