AURUM Aesthetic and Cosmetic Surgery is set to enter a new growth phase following its relocation to 617 Swan Crescent, The Grange, this year — a strategic move aimed at expanding capacity, enhancing patient experience and broadening its service offering.
The relocation will see the award-winning centre operating from a larger, more advanced facility designed to support its growing client base and evolving clinical needs.
Founder and director Pamela Munemo said the move was a deliberate step aligned with AURUM’s long-term vision.
“The expansion is expected to enhance clinical capacity, improve patient experience and allow for the introduction of additional services, further strengthening AURUM’s standing as a centre of excellence in aesthetic medicine,” Munemo said.
The announcement comes at a time when AURUM has once again consolidated its leadership position in Zimbabwe’s beauty and health sector.
The centre recently secured Hall of Fame honours at the Zim Community Trailblazers Awards, while Munemo was separately recognised as Outstanding Beauty and Health Practitioner — a double accolade that underscores both institutional excellence and visionary leadership.
Established in 2018, AURUM has built a strong reputation grounded in professionalism, patient safety and innovation, values that have earned it consistent national recognition in an increasingly complex and highly scrutinised industry.
In a groundbreaking development for Zimbabwe, the centre recently introduced tumescent (awake) liposuction, one of the safest and most advanced body-contouring procedures globally.

Unlike conventional liposuction, the technique is performed while the patient remains awake, significantly reducing surgical risks, recovery time and post-procedure downtime.
The procedure attracted widespread attention following its successful uptake by media personality Yaya Goodvibes, who reportedly regained mobility within three days — a development that boosted public confidence and highlighted the procedure’s benefits.
Medical experts note that tumescent liposuction offers results comparable to traditional methods while enhancing patient safety and accelerating recovery.
For Munemo, however, expansion and accolades are part of a broader mission.
“I remain deeply committed to shaping the future of aesthetic and cosmetic medicine in Zimbabwe through research, engagement with medical regulators and advocacy for ethical, well-regulated practice,” she said.
She added that her vision is to see Zimbabwe emerge as a regional leader in safe and ethical aesthetic medicine, where innovation is matched by robust safety standards and professional accountability.
With a strategic relocation on the horizon, cutting-edge procedures now available locally, and renewed national recognition, AURUM Aesthetic and Cosmetic Surgery continues to redefine industry standards — positioning itself for sustained growth while shaping the future of beauty and health in Zimbabwe.
