Grace Harvest Ministries International (GHMI) will this Sunday celebrate 17 years of ministry with a thanksgiving service, worship celebrations and a colourful march in Mabvuku, Harare, as the church reflects on nearly two decades of spiritual growth and community impact.
The celebrations, to be held at the Cathedral of Grace, will bring together church assemblies from across Zimbabwe in what organisers expect to be one of the ministry's biggest gatherings since its establishment.
Proceedings will begin at 8am with a celebratory march from Talent Village to the Cathedral of Grace church site.
Accompanied by a brass band, congregants will parade through Mabvuku in thanksgiving for what they describe as 17 years of God's faithfulness.
The main celebrations will run until 4pm and feature worship, thanksgiving, preaching and special presentations highlighting the ministry's achievements and its impact on communities over the years.
Speaking ahead of the anniversary, Grace Harvest Ministries International founder Prophet Tawanda Bondera said the milestone was a testimony to God's grace and the unwavering commitment of believers who have supported the ministry since its inception.
"Seventeen years is a testimony of God's faithfulness, mercy and unfailing love. We have witnessed countless lives transformed, families restored and communities touched by the Gospel of Jesus Christ,” he said.

“He has brought us and recommitting ourselves to advancing His Kingdom with even greater passion and purpose.”
He said the celebrations were open to everyone regardless of denomination.
"We warmly invite everyone to join us on this special day. Come and worship with us, celebrate with us and experience the love of God in an atmosphere of unity and thanksgiving,” Prophet Bondera said.
“We believe this will be a life-changing encounter for many people."
Prophet Bondera said the anniversary would also provide an opportunity for the church to renew its vision of spreading hope, faith and the Gospel while strengthening its outreach programmes.
In keeping with the spirit of fellowship, organisers said free food would be served to all attendees throughout the day.
Grace Harvest Ministries has over the past 17 years expanded its footprint across Zimbabwe through evangelism, discipleship and community-focused initiatives.
The anniversary celebrations are free and open to members of the public.
Church leaders say they expect thousands of worshippers and visitors from different parts of the country to attend the historic occasion.
