FORMER CAPS United coach Sean Connor’s manager Denford Mutashu has ruled out chances of the Irishman joining another local club.
Mutashu said the coach, who is in a bitter wrangle with CAPS United over his sacking from the club, will return home as soon as he concludes his talks with the club.
“Joining another local club is out of question as he specifically came for the CAPS United job. Our view is that all the coaches in the local premiership are all good. We do not want a situation where he takes another person’s job. As soon as he is done with the CAPS United issue, he will return home,” he said of the coach who is not willing to talk to the media at the moment.
“We hope to solve the issue amicably and will not take the matter to the courts of law and both parties have agreed that they learnt from each other during the course of the coach’s stay at CAPS United.”
The Irishman, who was fired last week following the team’s loss to Hwange, is not happy with the way he was dismissed from the club and has differed with United’s directors over the interpretation of the contract. Albert Marufu
