Egyptian reports suggested that one of the EFA trophies had been stolen and that the police had confiscated it at Cairo Airport.
El Shami said that the Egyptian trophies were all at the head quarters with the other cups.
“That is not right. All of them are at the trophy room and what the media said is false. We now know from the Ministry of Interior that the trophy in question is a copy of the original one,” he added.
