Afro Fusion musician Cynthia Mare is among the first set of musicians to record at the newly opened JP Studios owned by singer Jah Prayzah.

The Tsviriyo hitmaker recently opened his own recording studio at his offices in Belvedere.
Mare popularly known for her hit Dai Zvaibvira spent the better part of last week at the studio working on her new project under the supervision of producer Humphrey Domboka.
Jah Prayzah spoke to Standardstyle that the studio which has state-of-the-art equipment imported from England and South Africa was fully functional. The studio is manned by Domboka who has vast experience in music production.
He explained how difficult and taxing it was to record from other people’s studios as there was pressure from time limits, which often forces artists to finish recording within a given time which they would have paid for.
Having his own place to record from would ensure that he could compose, practise and record at his own pace, thereby improving on product quality.
“I wanted a quality end product, thus I was not in a rush to start my own studio before I was ready. But now my fans can expect a lot more from me as I intend to literally sleep in here to ensure perfect masterpieces!” he said.

Jah Prayzah said that he was grateful for this milestone in his thriving career as it had taken him some time to acquire the financial resources with which to complete the studio set-up. “Any recording artist is welcome at JP Studios,” he said.
The musician recently released another album Jerusarema, which was well received by the public.
The studio also offers a rehearsal studio for performance and music rehearsals.
