Letter from America: Juicy story: French president suing for slander!

Candace is a black American “right wing Donald Trump supporter and influencer”

Sister Candace is a black American “right wing Donald Trump supporter and influencer” with a 6.9 million viewership on her podcast and 4.5 million on YouTube.

With this kind of viewership power, she rivals the iconic legacy media moguls like American Broadcasting Corporation (ABC),  National Broadcasting Corporation (NBC) and Columbia Broadcasting Service. (CBS)

The long and short of the charge against her is that she has been spreading the idea that Brigitte Macron, the first lady of France was born a man-and is, therefore, a trans-gender person.

Secondly, the charge, as laid out in a Delaware Superior Court, says that Sister Candace, has not only spread these “falsehoods” but has waged a campaign of intimidation on a global scale against Ms. Macron and her husband.

This is “wild”-the idea that a 35-year-old black woman podcasting from basement in Tennessee, can wage a campaign of intimidation against a European president.

True, Sister has become a voice of conscience, in France and Australia since she was dismissed from her perch at the Daily Wire. She was brave enough to expose the genocide going on in Gaza.

Now she is on her second mission, to expose the “perverts who govern us” (her own words, and Mrs Macron and her husband, seem to fit her definition of this scandalous situation.

This brings us to our second story line. The advent of social media, which is now fronted by podcasts (a little guy broadcasting whatever comes to his mind in his dining room) and living off viewer subscriptions, has destroyed the old-fashioned national media houses referred to above and driven government-controlled propaganda nuts.

Macron and his wife, Brigitte haveconfessed to having been humiliated by this cantankerous woman.

Candace presented an eight- part series on Becoming Brigitte, a biography of French president’s wife by researcher Xavier Poussard.

Candace says that Brigitte was born with a tail and remained a man until perhaps late in his thirties when he transitioned to a woman.

The early family photographs show a girl, perhaps Brigitte and a boy, Jean Mitchel.

Of the two, the brother and the sister, one disappears from life altogether and it “appears” one has replaced the other. There is no explanation of what happened to one or the other.

In later life, Mrs Macron is seen, as witnessed by a jilted influencer- (a Ms Mimmie) visiting a famous doctor who specialises in “trans-genderism.”

Mrs Macron, at 39, now an art teacher, meets a young promising 14 -year Emmanuel Macron.

It is said that she was married, with three children, but there is no record of her pregnancies or of the father of their father.

One child remembers a father but says he died and was buried.

In another version, the dead father was cremated.

The other two Brigitte children will not talk.

The book is well researched and does seek to create doubts. Candace has come to believe that there are hidden forces in western society “creating and molding” these pervert leaders and then foisting them upon western societies.

Candace believes that these invisible forces in western society have been creating these perverse people and foisting them on society as leaders.

In this regard she includes Democrat Kamala Harris and Barak Obama as leaders whose histories were manufactured.

The Macrons allege, in an affidavit before the Delaware Court that Sister knowingly spread “misinformation” in order to “inflame and attract attention through conspiracy theories.”

Macron is probably wrong on this one. If these are false accusations, the sinner is Xavier Proussard, the French biographer whose pre-publishing publicity has inflamed the controversy.

Macron further alleges that Sister has carried on a campaign of “intimidation” aimed at “humiliating” him and his wife on a global scale.

There is some truth in this. I have checked with my news fraternity in Australia and in Ireland. They agree that Sister Owens has had 5.5 million hits in Australia alone and has become a household name there.

Macron further states that Sister Candace knew these claims to be “demonstrably false, …yet she published them anyway…the reason is clear… it is not pursuit of truth, but pursuit of fame.”

By placing himself before an American court, Macron has entered Sister’s name in the books of jurisprudence.

Sister did not create the story-which was already floating in French podcasts. Two French women, Natacha Rey and Amandine Roy, were acquitted by a French court on July 10 for defaming the Macrons on the same trans-gender issue.

The Macrons will face two insurmountable hurdles in a US court.

The first hurdle is that Macron is not an American citizen and Sister is not a resident of Delaware. The question of jurisdiction must be overcome.

The second is called the New York Times versus Sullivan (1962). In that case the US Supreme Court ruled that a public figure, by his calling, is liable to scrutiny, even of an unpleasant nature. The complainant must proof “malice afore-thought.”

Sister will refer to the two French journalists, who have been acquitted of slander and can argue that curiosity is not prejudice-afore-thought.

Sister argues that the presence of perverts in high office is leading to short-sighted policies everywhere she looks. Her mission is to challenge these perverts.

Sister says that the US ambassador to Israel, the Pope in Rome, and many Christian organisations were awakened and shocked when three Roman Catholics and their priest were bombed by Israeli troops.

Surely, if they have been watching the slaughter of Arabs and the starvation of children for almost three years, their consciences are perverted.

About the Macron rebuke, I have gone over the review three times. Without Macron’s side of the story, I cannot see how Sister is deliberately falsifying the book material she has before her.

PEACE.
