ZIMBABWE Under 19 captain Graham Kaulback and Districts back Matt Rowe are the only two inclusions in the Zimbabwe Sevens rugby team which  gets its Dubai Sevens campaign underway against Samoa this morning.

The Dubai Sevens is the first event of the eight-legged International Rugby Board (IRB) World Sevens Series. Kaulback led the Young Sables when they qualified for next year’s IRB Junior World Rugby Trophy in Argentina while Rowe had an average domestic season at club level.

The Cheetahs are aiming to reach at least the semi-final stage of the main event in a concerted effort to attain IRB core-team status. A core member participates in all legs of the whirlwind tour which takes the teams to the UAE, South Africa, New Zealand, USA, Australia, Hong Kong, England and Scotland.

Zimbabwe are in Pool B, which also has Fiji and Scotland.
