Motor Action rise as Moneybags sink Harare City

Former CAPS United winger Ebabali  Yves scored the only goal of the match on 53 minutes beating goalkeeper Alexander Useni with a powerful drive after being set-up by Norman Maroto.

The win lifted the Mighty Bulls to second position on the league table after jumping four places on the league table.  Hardbody had started brightly in the first half as they created good chances which however failed to yield anything as their attackers lacked precision in front of goal.

At Gwanzura Stadium, Michael Madyira reports that an Ali Sadiki hat-trick powered FC Platinum to a 4-1 win over Harare City.

The platinum miners got an early scare when defender Norman Togara succumbed to Harare City pressure to head into his own net in the first minute.
But Sadiki led the comeback with a goal eight minutes later, before doubling his side’s advantage in the 32nd minute.

Allan Gahadzikwa scored six minutes before the break and Sadiki completed the rout in the 78th minute to help Platinum leap three rungs up to fourth place.

Across town at Lafarge Stadium, Tatenda Makanda reports that Blue Rangers continued to sing the blues as they fell 1-0 to Gunners.

Even the return of Misheck Chidzambwa on their bench could not help them as they fell to a William Manondo’s 71st minute goal.

Chidzambwa bounced back

as the head coach last week to take over from Wishes Shiri-dzinomwa who was pushed to an assistant role.

At Luveve Stadium, Sukoluhle Mthethwa reports that Malvern Dumbura’s  71st goal handed Chicken Inn their second defeat of the season after they were beaten by  Buffaloes.

The defeat saw them dropping to the fifth spot on the table.
