To mark a successful half season, the UCPL will host a Mid-season Gala with more than 32 clubs set to take part on dates yet to be confirmed. Speaking to this publication on Friday, chairman of the UCPL, Taurai Musakaruka said he was more than satisfied with the progress made so far.

Musakaruka added: “We have more than five teams breathing neck to neck for the top honours. Teams such as Zebra Valley, Mafia, Sabhuku and Springview have been performing well.”

At the begining of the season, they had 32 registered clubs and he was happy that all the teams were still intact and were still fulfilling their fixtures.
