FC Platinum coach Norman Mapeza hopes their win over Highlanders at the weekend can give them the momentum to kick in and string good results in the upcoming matches.
On Saturday the reigning champions take on struggling Bulawayo Chiefs at Luveve stadium hoping to get only their second win in eight matches.
Pure Platinum Play stemmed a six match winless run after putting up a splendid show to hand Bosso their first defeat of the season.
Mapeza is wary of Chiefs who have managed just two points from their last six matches and last won on July 16 where they beat Triangle.
“We are facing Bulawayo Chiefs, they are a very good team but they haven’t been getting results of late, “Mapeza said. I think we are in the same situation but after our win against Highlanders I hope it’s a sign of better things to come. We just have to pick up from where we left against Highlanders. Credit to the boys, they worked so hard.”
