In a highly anticipated match played at the Nyamhunga Stadium in Kariba, ZPC Kariba and Scotland FC fought out a goalless draw. The match was a closely contested affair, with both teams creating scoring opportunities but failing to capitalise.

The first half saw some promising calls with Ruwa Edmund of ZPC hitting the bar in the 25th minute after benefitting from a pass by Fanuel Shoko. Scotland FC's Tymon Machope also saw his headed efforts sail over the bar in the 36th minute.

Kuzivakwashe Madima of ZPC Kariba also had an effort go over the bar in the 41st minute, adding to the frustration for the home team.

In the second half, ZPC Kariba's Charles Munyanyi came close to scoring after dribbling past the Scotland FC defenders, but his effort went off target. Munyanyi had another chance in the 71st minute, but his shot was blocked by Nelson Chadya.

The mercurial Kama Billiat worried ZPC Kariba in the 60th minute, but goalkeeper, Future Sibanda, made a crucial save to deny the Warriors striker.

As the final whistle blew, both teams were left to ponder what might have been. Despite the lack of goals, the match was filled with excitement and tension, keeping the fans on the edge of their seats.

After the match, ZPC Kariba coach, Newton Chitewe, expressed his disappointment at failing to securing a win. "We had good chances, but we couldn't capitalize. We'll take the point, but we're disappointed we couldn't get the win. We'll regroup and come back stronger in the next match. We need to work on our finishing and make sure we're more clinical in front of goal. I think we dominated possession, but Scotland FC's defense was solid, and they made it hard for us to break through."

Scotland FC coach Tonderai Ndiraya, on the other hand, was pleased with his team's defensive display. "It was a tough match, but we're happy with the point. Our defence was solid, and we created some good opportunities. We'll build on this and look forward to the next game. I think we did well to nullify ZPC Kariba's attacks, and our goalkeeper made some crucial saves. "We'll take this point and use it to build momentum going forward."

Both coaches acknowledged the high level of competition in the league and vowed to come back stronger in their next matches. The draw means both teams will have to wait for their next matches to secure a win, but the fans were left entertained by the exciting display of football.

As the teams left the field, it was clear that both ZPC Kariba and Scotland FC would be looking forward to their next fixtures, each determined to come out on top.
