Despite the pressure from Yadah FC in the second half, ZPC Kariba's defense held firm, and they were able to see out the win.
"We fought the fight, unfortunately, we could not make it," said Yadah FC coach Takaendesa Jongwe after the match. "We had more chances, but we were not patient, we were a bit hurrying."
ZPC Kariba coach Newton Chitewe was pleased with his team's performance, saying, "The boys played well, unfortunately, we failed to utilize most of the chances that came our way."
Chitewe added that his team would look to improve their finishing in upcoming matches.
