Letter from America: Iran-Israel war: The mother of all deceptions!

The unprovoked attack of Iran by Israel, June 13, follows a pattern by the US-Israel lobby and its European allies.

Dear reader, this letter, in our jargon, deals with what we call, “heavy matters.”

The unprovoked attack of Iran by Israel, June 13, follows a pattern by the US-Israel lobby and its European allies.

First manufactured truths are presented to the world of a country that is ruled by bandits and oppressors, and its women dying to be freed from facial masks and sexual seraglios.

Further, Iran was accused of nuclear ambitions and a desire to attack its neighbours, despite the fact that US intelligence czar, Tulsi Gabbard reported that the consensus in the intelligence world was that Iran had no such ambitions since 2003.

In any case, an arrangement by former president Barack Obama in 2015 allowed UN inspection of all Iranian nuclear sites.

The Wall Street Journal  on June 13, fronted a story with this headline: US diplomacy served as cover for Israeli attack.

While negotiations were going on in Qatar, US President Donald Trump had given an impression that Israel would be held at bay. In any case, a ruse was created that Trump and Netanyahu were not speaking to each other.

Never mind the facts, Netanyahu added another incriminating piece of manufactured truths. He blamed Iran for two attempts on Trump’s life.

Congressional inquiries appear to point fingers towards internal US intelligence service in what they called criminal negligence in the way they provided opportunities for his assassination, even after audiences had pointed out to authorities: “He has a gun.”

It turned out, all these presentations constituted the great deception, intended to lull Iran into a false sense of safety from attack.

The deception involved European powers as well. The British representative at the United Nations “strongly” denied any prior knowledge of Israel’s attack on Iran.

Correspondents for the Middle East Eye, Peter Osborne and David Hearst place the British base in Cyprus as serving as a supply and surveillance outpost for Israel in both the genocide in Gaza and the Iran affair.

The loud-mouthed Trump, gave the cat away. In an interview with Dana Bash, Cable News Network anchorwoman, Trump boasted of his role in deceiving the Iranians. Dana, who was not allowed to tape the conversation, nevertheless told her bosses immediately after the conversation, while her memory was still fresh.

“I gave them (Iranians) time to make a deal. They are all dead now.” Trump said. This included the chief negotiator, bombed with his colleagues at a meeting.

“Do you mean you ordered their killing?” Dash asked a question.

“Well, they did not die from Covid.” Trump said. This is the sentence we want to dwell on.

The issue here is that Trump is revealing how Third World countries are viewed in Washington, and how otherwise serious negotiations mean nothing to these hegemonists.

Imagine the warm welcome Trump received on his trip to Qatar and the gift of a Jumbo jet valued at US$500 million. The Arabs thought they had a friend.

Trump promised to work for peace in the Middle East, blaming predecessor Joe Biden for the mess.

The great deception.

All that was the mother of all deceptions. The Iranians, assured of continued peace talks, called a public meeting of their top generals, nuclear scientists and chief negotiator on Friday, May 13.

“They are all dead now,” boasted Trump, taking the unprovoked murder of Iranian officials lightly.

There is more. Judge Andrew Napolitano says (June 16) that it is in the air that Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu proposed the murder of Ayatollah Khamenei-Iran’s Supreme Leader.

The attack on Iran was unprovoked. The cassus belli (cause of war) advanced by Netanyahu was that Iran was developing a nuclear capability, “within a year, possibly within a month.” Words mean nothing to these hegemonists.

Learned nothing, forgot nothing.

On June 12, Trump celebrated his birthday camouflaged under the guise of paying tribute to the 250th birthday of the US army.

Trump’s electoral victories have not translated into a capture of the media houses. His mafia like dirty mouthed support for the murder Iranian leaders places the US-Israel relationship at par with rogue states.

Democrats now find Trump’s complicity in the genocide in Gaza, or the attack in Russia and Iran, all of which they were part of during their stay in the White House,  an opening to be exploited against him.

These “Refuseniks” (they refuse to accept Trump as president) organised the largest demonstrations in history, mastering 5 million in attendance.

Trump has refused to acknowledge, technical superiority does not guarantee victory.

Learning from Afghanistan and Iraq, these “refuseniks” realised that they were driven into a war over manufactured truths by Netanyahu.

Never again will they send their children to die for Israel.

Iranians have arrested Indian nationals working on a port in Iran who are suspected of working as “sleepers” on behalf of Israel.

A dying hegemony

Western leaders seem never to learn from the past. Netanyahu has called on Iranians to free themselves from the oppressive religious patriarchy led by Ayatollahs.

As Iran recovered from an unprovoked attack and humiliation, with coolness of purpose and hardness of heart, gathered itself, and with precision unleashed an attack on Israel which destroyed their defense headquarters and their oil refinery.

At last, the natives have mastered technical aptitudes which only yesterday seemed to be the preserve of the European powers.

At last, with cool resolve, Iranians have flipped the narrative. The manufactured truths of despotic inefficient patriarchy have been up-ended.

At last, a small country with seven million people can no longer terrorise 90 million Iranians with equanimity.

Enough is enough. The natives are fighting back.

The narrative of Israel’s invincibility has been shattered. The manufactured truths and narratives that Israel’s neighbours were the aggressors, have been up-ended.

The US-Israeli axis and their European allies fool themselves if they cannot appreciate the fact that Iran gas captured the sympathy of the 27 Muslim countries as well as the Third World, who see themselves as the next victims of western aggression.

Denzel Washington and Morgan Freeman say so.
