My Dear People
THE revelation that the country has lost a whooping US$6,5 billion over the last five years to money laundering related crimes, gold smuggling and corrupt networks is another damning indictment of the Ngwena regime.
This shameful revelation is not coming from some non-governmental organisation or opposition outfit, but from the regime’s Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU).
That such malfeasance has occurred under the nose of the Scarfed One and Co makes a mockery of the regime’s claims that it is committed to fight corruption.
This embarrassing revelation is the reason the country’s citizens snort in derision when they are told by the failed regime that the sanctions imposed by the United States are the major contributor to the economic malaise.
This is in addition to the sickening levels of graft that are exposed annually by the Auditor General’s office which reveal shocking information of cars which are not delivered despite being paid for in full and atrocious corporate governance among other acts of duplicity.
That the conviction of the Zimbabwe Miners' Federation (ZMF) boss Henrietta Rushwaya for gold smuggling only resulted in a fine and a suspended sentence and still remained the ZMF president reflects poorly on the Ngwena regime’s fight against graft.
Such is the level of skullduggery that even the Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission, appointed by the Scarfed One to fight sleaze, has been exposed for failing to account for the funds allocated to it as it operated without audited financial statements. It is a stinking mess!!!

The horror of just how far the country has plummeted under the so-called Second Repubric unfortunately does not end with the FIU’s disgraceful expose. Oh no, there is more.
The Zimbabwe National Statistics Agency revealed last week that the country’s economy is 76% informalised up from 60%.
In other words, since the Ngwena regime was barrelled into power on the back of guns and tanks, the country has become one big tuckshop! As a result, Zimstats established, the contribution of corporate tax has whittled from 20% in 2021 to just 8% in 2024.
This explains why the regime is so desperate for money to the extent of taxing struggling Zimbos for eating fried chips!! Goodness me, this is the definition of utter failure by the not so new dispensation.
Such has been the decimation of the formal sector under the Ngwena regime that there are less than 25% of businesses that are formal and are rewarded with being squeezed by numerous taxes and regulations.
An indication of this excessive regulation is evidenced by the fact that to start a retail shop, one needs more than 20 different permits.
This is what you get when you remove the wisdom imbued leadership of Gushungo. Open for business, my foot!!!
Munopengaaa!!!
With such appalling and vapid leadership, it is shocking that the fight to extend the disastrous leadership of Ngwena to 2030 has regained momentum.
That the ruining Zanu PF party is focused on pushing for 2030 at a time the country has become an economic backwater with a plethora of issues to be addressed is evidence that this party has become rudderless since it took the foolish and suicidal decision to remove the telescopic foresighted Gushungo.
Though some of you are too proud and stubborn to admit it, I know most of you are missing the leadership of Gushungo who was one of the best leaders the continent has ever been blessed with.
At a time when the economy is in the doldrums with the thousands losing jobs and companies shutting shop and with the country’s tertiary education under threat due to a crippling strike by lecturers at the University of Zimbabwe, the Ngwena led Zanu PF are occupied whether one Tagwirei should be propelled into the party’s central committee.
It beggars belief and shows why I nearly lost my voice warning the country’ citizens of the dangers of embracing this thoroughly incompetent and probity deficient lot which is leading us into the abyss of poverty, darkness and chaos.

The attempt by the Chitungwiza municipality to gain mileage from the horrific Chitungwiza accident which claimed 17 lives, is reflective of the thoughtless boneheads that have occupied the council of this town.
As the nation grieves over this terrible loss, some buffoon thought it would be an opportunity to announce that to support funeral arrangements in St Mary’s and Manyame suburbs, it has dedicated water supply to these areas for two days.
It is nothing short of abhorrent that this useless council needs a national disaster to provide water which should always be available.
What makes the announcement even more risible is the implication that they are doing the residents of these areas a favour.
The announcement is an insult to the Chitungwiza residents who fork out large amounts of money to pay this council for the availability of water among other basic amenities which these imbeciles fail to provide.
The ineptness of the Ngwena regime is surely contagious!!
