My Dear People
It would be remiss of me to start this missive without expressing my gratitude for all the birthday wishes from the country’s citizens from all four corners of the nation.
As you have seen with the way I danced the night away to celebrate being on this good earth for more than five decades, I am, as Gushungo would have said, as fit as a fiddle.
As you witnessed with the way I swayed to the music at my party, I could give teenagers a good run for their money when it comes to strutting on the dance floor. kkkkkk.
Even former detractors, who were at the forefront of the disgraceful removal of Gushungo, attended the party with fake plastic smiles.
I am not fooled, but that is an issue for another day.

The Ngwena regime has once again shot themselves in the foot with the diabolical decision to ban night vending and the sale of second-hand clothes.

The decision reeks of selfishness and shows how this so-called second repubric is detached from the masses.
It seems to be beyond this inept lot that the vending, which they are banning, has been necessitated by their catastrophic leadership failure which has spawned job losses and company closures.
This year more than 20 000 people have lost jobs in the retail sector with thousands more thrown onto the street in the mining sector due to scorched earth policies by this not so new dispensation which has brought about poverty and despair.
To ban vending, which is the only source of livelihood for these vendors without providing alternative sources for survival, is indicative of the bankrupt and hopelessly clueless governance of the Scarfmore regime.
As sure as my doctorate, which was attained in short record time, the latest ban will fail dismally.
Instead of creating a stable economic environment to enable self-sufficiency, the Ngwena regime is deepening poverty by banning the only source of livelihoods so as to reduce them to impoverished and desperate individuals that relies on for meagre handouts under some presidential scheme.
It is shameful how this Ngwena regime is turning the country into a banana republic!!!

It comes as no surprise that the touted stability of the funny money known as the Zimbabwe Gold (ZiG) is artificial.
The stability, which the regime has been shouting about from rooftops, has been achieved through not paying money it owes in the funny money to not only those it has contracted to work for them but also on holding back millions it owes platinum miners in export earnings.
The failure to pay contractors has resulted in massive job losses with most of them teetering on the brink of bankruptcy as revealed by the representative body of contractors, the Zimbabwe Building Contractors Association.
To fail to pay debts in order to claim stability of the funny money, exposes the desperate levels the regime has plumbed to in order to avoid the loss in value of the ZiG which is already not very useful as it cannot procure fuel or a passport.
It is a damning indictment of the monetary authorities that in order to keep inflation in check it is willing to starve the very businesses which it depends on for revenue in terms of taxes and other regulatory payments. It beggars belief.
This embarrassing development comes on the backdrop of Finance minister Mthuli Ncube revealing in his mid-term budget that he will add further taxes on the suffering Zimbabweans, who are already taxed for even eating fried chips.
Given the regime’s rapacious greed for more revenue, it would not surprise your good doctor if it came up with a tax for citizens’ undergarments!!!

Indeed, the ruining party Zanu PF has turned into a circus since being deprived of the wisdom imbued and telescopic foresight of Gushungo.
The contradiction between the party motormouth Chris Mutsvangwa and legal affairs secretary over the admission of Tagwirei into the central committee is the stuff of comedy and clearly shows why this is a dispensation of confusion.
As Mutsvangwa claimed that Tagwirei’s application to be accepted in the central committee had been rejected outright, Chinamasa was claiming the opposite, pointing out that Tagwirei’s admission into the central committee was a foregone conclusion.
It is difficult to believe that such bizarre contradictions are coming from the two individuals who attended the same politburo meeting where this issue was discussed.
To add to the buffoonery, Chinamasa then deleted the post on microblogging site X which he had revealed that Tagwirei has been admitted into the central committee before reposting it.
With this kind of confused and confusing leadership, it is no wonder why the country remains an economic backwater!!!

I, your good doctor, has run out of adjectives to commiserate with Movement of Democratic Change leader Dougie whose party suffered yet another defeat in last weeks’ by elections in Epworth mustering a paltry120 votes.
This has followed heavy losses in the 2022 by elections and the 2023 harmonised elections.
As if that was not enough for the poor bespectacled fellow, he is battling to cling on to the party leadership after the courts ordered a rerun of elections of his beleaguered party.
Spare a thought for this man who is joining the likes of Egypt Dzinemunhenzva on the scrapheap of failed politicians.
